Be moved!
St. John's has a new Community Bus service.

The service will operate from Monday to Thursday and will service a different area of the City on each day. There will be two routes in the west end of St. John’s and two in the east end of St. John’s. The service is geared toward residents age 50 years and older.

How does it work?
Unlike other Metrobus routes, and where possible, the Community Bus provides door-to-door pick up and drop off at a number of apartment complexes to places like shopping malls and recreation facilities. All bus stops along the Community Bus routes are also serviced. Service is provided by a 27-foot fully accessible bus.

How much does it cost?
Regular transit fares apply. Visit https://www.metrobus.com/fares for current transit fares and fare options.

Can I transfer to other Metrobus routes?
Customers can travel to major exchange points where they can transfer to and from regular Metrobus routes. It is free to transfer from the Community Bus service to other Metrobus routes and from other Metrobus routes to the Community Bus; just request a transfer from your driver and let him know the route to which you wish to transfer.
